The Town of Marion invites the community to commemorate the renaming of Point Road Park to Pina Park. Named after Manuel and Felizarda Pina, the couple who donated the land for the park in 1930, it acknowledges their generosity and legacy.

It’s also the first peek at the Historical Marker program that SHS is developing thanks to an FY2025 Community Preservation Act grant. Ten locations around Marion will tell stories of the Town’s history, with additional information available on the Sippican Historical Society website.
