DESCRIPTION:Jim Merkel’s documentary\, Saving Walden’s World\, shares three different cultures and how they work to build a sustainable community. Jim and his son Walden travel to Kerala\, Slovenia and Cuba\, discovering Microfinance\, health care and education programs and the people who make them happen. After playing at 23 film festivals on 4 continents and winning 14 awards\, the film is now being shown virtually and in community settings world-wide. \nCome for the positive vibes\, the popcorn and the community! Director Jim Merkel will attend and will answer questions after the 90 minute movie. \nGet your tickets for November 13\, 7pm showing\, hosted by the Sippican Historical Society. Entrance is free.
