Join us on Zoom as Wendy Goodwin, the third generation Goodwin running Cape Cod Shipbuilding Co. tells its 121-year history with photos and stories. Located on the Wareham River, this historic yard has evolved from building wooden pleasure boats, 100’ ferries, and 40’ tug boats to becoming a premier builder of nationally popular racing and pleasure craft. Wendy will walk us through the history of the company with a special focus on the boats enjoyed right here in her home port of Marion. Even if you don’t own one of her beautiful boats, you will enjoy this fascinating (and continuing) story of our area’s maritime history.
