For more than 30 years, Sippican Historical Society has gathered the stories of community members. In the beginning, it was a tape recorder, transcribed and collated into self-published books. In recent years, with help from Old Rochester Community Television (ORC-TV), we enjoy video versions of these oral histories.
In the last month, we’ve lost both Joanne Mahoney and Betsy Dunn. SHS is grateful for all that they’ve done for Marion and for the fact that Judy Rosbe took time to hear their stories. Please enjoy these chats with wonderful women.
